28253 Hollandaise Sauce Mix

Dr. Oetker Hollandaise Sauce is an excellent, rich and delicious sauce. This product is very stable when held on a steam table.  Preparation is easy, simply add water, bring to a boil, simmer for one minute, then melt and emulsify butter in the thickened sauce.  Fresh butter is added to give the sauce its rich flavour and smooth texture.  Additionally, you can add spices and/or lemon juice, to taste.  Add fresh or dry Tarragon to make a Béarnaise sauce. Hollandaise sauce can be served over vegetables, such as broccoli and asparagus.  It may also be served over fish, such as Salmon or Halibut.  To make Veal Oscar top over veal and asparagus.  Hollandaise is renowned for its use in the preparation of Eggs Benedict; English muffin, back bacon and a poached egg topped with Hollandaise.
